  • Labored respiration

  • Weight loss

  • Dorsal fin erosion

  • Common Health Issue: Ich, Fish Rot


  • Feed 1x or 2x a day. 

  • Algae or algae sheets should always be present in the aquarium

  • Provide plants, rocks and décor for hiding places and plenty room for movement.

  • Usually solitary and territorial. May be aggressive to new aquarium. Defend themselves with swinging their tail towards their target.

  • Some tangs are known to school. Ideal to keep groups of 3 or more in odd numbers
