White Smith's Blenny (Meiacanthus Smithii)

The White Blenny, otherwise known as the Smith Fang Blenny, the Disco Blenny, and the White’s Blenny, are predominately blue bodied with a black stripe that runs through their eyes down their dorsal fin. Their caudal fins and anal fins are translucent in color and are fringed in shape.

It is best to house the White Blenny in a 30 gallon tank or larger with plenty of swimming room and live rock for hiding, grazing, and perching. These fish aren’t usually aggressive, but will defend themselves if aggravated. Their fangs are used for defense, and they may be used when warding off aggressive fish.

The diet of the White Blenny should include: Mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, chopped crustacean flesh, herbivore preparations, and micro algae.
