Scooter Blenny Dragonet (Synchiropus ocellatus)
The Scooter Blenny, otherwise known as the Ocellated Dragonet or the Scooter Dragonet, are small mottled patterned fish with translucent, tan dorsal, anal, and caudal fins. These fish are tan in body, with red and white markings.
It is best to keep these fish in a 30 gallon tank or larger with live sand, live rock and peaceful tankmates. The Scooter Blenny can be kept with fish of its own species. If doing so, the ratio of Scooter Blennys should be 2 to 3 females per males and it is best to introduce them at the same time.
The diet of the Scooter Blenny should include: finely cut brine shrimp and other meaty foods. These fish can be difficult to feed due to their feeding habits. They tend to sift through sand for food.
