Humu Picasso Triggerfish (Rhinecanthus Aculeatus)
Description
The Humu Humu Triggerfish, otherwise known as the Humu Picasso Triggerfish or the Picasso triggerfish, are known for their artistic features. They are iridescent tan in body, but are colored with striking line work in black, blue, orange, and yellow. These angular fish are a creation in themselves.
It is best to house the Humu Humu Triggerfish in a 180 gallon tank or larger with live rock and hideaway caves to stimulate a natural environment. They tend to rearrange/reorganize the landscaping as they wander across the aquarium. These fish can be aggressive and should be kept with fish that can hold their own.
Diet
The diet of the Humu Humu Triggerfish should include: clams, small fish, squid, krill, and hard shelled shrimp to soften their teeth.
