The Forktail Blenny, otherwise known as the Yellowtail Fang Blenny or the Lyretail Fang Blenny, are blue faced and white bodied. Their dorsal fins and forked tails are translucent with yellow highlights.

It is best to house the Forktail Blenny in a 30 gallon tank or larger with plenty of room for swimming and live rock for perching, grazing, and hiding. These fish are best kept singly, but can be kept as mated pairs. They are considered venomous and should be handled with caution.

The diet of the Forktail Blenny should include: Mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, chopped crustacean flesh, herbivore preparations, and micro algae.
