The Annularis Angelfish, also known as the Blue King and the Blue Ring Angelfish, are brown with bold blue stripes across the lengths of their bodies. They have white tails with tan linings at the ends, and their pectoral fins are the same tan color.
It is best to keep the Annularis Angelfish in a 220 gallon tank or larger with live rock for grazing and many places for hiding. The Annularis are territorial and do not get along with other angelfish, but they are peaceful among other fish. Keep in mind, they are also known for nipping at stony and soft corals (sessile invertebrates) and clam mantles.
The diet of the Annularis Angelfish should include: meaty items such as mysis and frozen shrimp, high-quality angelfish preparations, spirulina, and marine algae. The Annularis Angelfish should be fed at least three times a day. When first introduced, you may need to offer freshly chopped seafood to entice the Annularis to eat.
